How is precipitation formed?
When water droplets gather in the cloud, the thickness of the cloud increases and its color tends to gray, and the drops become too heavy to remain suspended in the atmosphere.
The hail often accompanies thunderstorms, where the cloud consists of water droplets with a small amount of ice crystals.
As for the snow, it is formed when the air temperature is less than the freezing point of water, as the water vapor in the cloud turns into ice crystals directly.
