ETKA - рулит, а журналисты очень часто публикуют догадки или слухи выдавая их за чистую монету (зарубежные в большинстве своем мало чем отличаются от родных российских). Про разницу двигов Cupra/E30 и S3 уже много говорили - двиги разные.

правильно сказали в S3 куллер потолще и прошивка другая, остальное точно как на купре на юбилейке походу тоже.

Да, правда - двигатель на E30 и Cupra практически идентичен двигателю S3:
